Sewing Thread Consumption for Chain Stitches of Class 400 using Geometrical and Multilinear Regression Models

چکیده
Abstract This work deals with determination of rapid and precise methods to predict the amount sewing thread needed sew a garment using different chain stitches class 400 (from 401 407 stitches). At first, avoid unused stocks, consumption value was determined geometrical method (based on stitch shapes). The prediction proposed as function studied input parameters, which are fabric thickness, density, yarn linear width. Then, statistical based multilinear regression studied. Geometrical results were discussed. Based R 2 range, we concluded that is more accurate than one 98.16 99.19% from 97.30 98.51%, respectively). Thus, this result encourages industrialists use models consumption. Also, all contributing behavior, investigated analyzed. shows most important parameters affecting density followed by width thickness. has low contribution value.
